Trend Analysis

The existing legal regulations contained in Commission Regulation (EC) No 2073/2005 of 15 November 2005 on microbiological criteria for foodstuffs (as amended) oblige food business operators to analyze trends in research results and, in the case of unsatisfactory results, oblige them to take appropriate action to remedy the situation to prevent the emergence of microbiological threats. Manufacturers should base on trend analysis and risk assessment to periodically review the microbiological criteria set out in the abovementioned regulation and, if necessary, amend or supplement them.

Our experts will help to develop statistical analysis of data related to production processes and environmental monitoring, and will show the relationships between observed variables and time. For this purpose, analyzing the data from systematic sampling of raw materials, products or environmental studies from control charts is used.  We develop control cards based on the results of the sample tests in our laboratories, but also on the results of a client’s laboratory tests.
